The context
Data science concerns extracting knowledge from data. Our research focuses on the development of machine learning methods and the knowledge extraction from complex data (eg. images, databases, etc.).
Main goals
- to study and develop knowledge extraction methods,
- to apply these methods to the analysis of complex data such as spatio-temporal data, databases or digital images.
Our research focuses on
- data mining, eg. change of contexts and complex data representation,
- machine learning, in particular collaborative clustering and complex aggregates.
